Assalamu Alaikum dear parents,

I pray you are all in the best of health and Imaan In Sha Allah!

Well, we have come towards the end of a very productive and exciting first half term! Year 4 have managed to display very good behavior and efforts in their learning, and each child is very keen to improve and be a part of a caring and nurturing atmosphere in the school and classroom. The class have enjoyed a range of activities in their subjects, whilst also being rewarded for their efforts. It has been a very enjoyable experience for both the teacher and the pupils, and I already look forward to seeing them after half term and trying my best to ensure each child can fulfill their potential.

We have studied Number and Place value in Maths, and we have covered Rounding, Ordering number sequences, Greater than and Less than, Partitioning and times tables too. The children are MashAllah very bright, and I have been very impressed with their enthusiasm and effort. The children have also been studying descriptive writing whilst also taking part in many comprehension activities from a variety of texts. In PE, the children’s focus has been Agility, and learning the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. The children have also been learning about the culture of Ancient Egypt, and exploring many different techniques on how to examine a text, such as inference, summarizing and predicting. They always show a positive attitude in each lesson and it is a delight to teach this class. May Allah SWT reward them all, as well as parents and staff for their efforts with many blessings. May Allah SWT continue to keep each child happy and healthy. The children have also been supplicating Dhikr when they are lining up and also during the day which I am very proud of.

I hope you all have a very restful and happy half term and I pray Allah SWT keeps you all safe In Sha Allah. I have to admit the children and I very much, Alhamdullilah, have built a very positive and respectful relationship, and they have also made me smile everyday! It has been a very rewarding first half term and I very much look forward to starting the new term.

Best Wishes,
