السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Dear Parents,

I hope you and your family are in the best of health and Imaan,

Here is what we have learned in QAIS subjects,

Qaidah:

Students are learning about the unmarked letters, how to recognise them, and the rules of reading them when reciting the Quran.

That means when the Alif, Waw, and Yaa occur at the end of the word following a double Fathah and are unmarked, they should not be pronounced, i.e. They remain silent. This is taught as “Qaaf double Fathah Qann”.

In Qaidah students are taught as a group and do different revision activities individually.

In Quran, students are learning  Surah Al-Qadr by Nazra (looking) as well as Hifz (memorisation)
