Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

Our event has been a SUCCESS!

More than £235 have been collected so far to help to plant new trees in the Rain forest and help the indigenous people living there.

But we still need your help! We are still collecting donations and children can bring in their charity boxes within Wednesday 13th November.

Jazakallahu kheirun to all the Suffah parents who supported us by attending the event, who were encouraging our children, who listened to them when talking about the endangered species with care and interest, who helped out, to all of you who contributed with a donation or had even just the intention of doing it! May this have a big weight on your Scale on the day of Judgement. Ameen

All the Year 3 children wore a Kayapo Tribal Headdress done during their Art lesson.
Tribal people of the Rain Forest use feathers to decorate themselves.
Our enterprising children sold the cakes with the help of their dedicated parents
Can you spot the endangered tiger?
Some children dressed up as animals of the Rain Forest. We have a wonderful scarlet macaw in this pic.
Cute lion cupcakes!
Some parents worked really hard trying to reproduce animals. Isn’t this amazing?
Some children were the Rain Forests Ambassadors and had the task of informing people about illegal logging
