Quran Teaching Assistant

Start Date : September 2020

The School Governors are seeking to appoint a part-time Quran Teaching Assistant.

The successful candidates will:

  • be established teachers within a Primary School Setting;
  • be highly motivated, dedicated, forward-looking and experienced teachers;
  • be committed to enhancing the ethos of the school which is to provide high quality education in an Islamic environment;
  • possess strong teaching skills and be able to work well with a team of dedicated and hardworking staff;
  • have the experience of previously teaching Quran & Islamic Studies to Primary School children.
  • Experience of working with young children
  • good organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant

Start Date : September 2020

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to support teaching and learning at our school. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities.

Job Requirements:

  • Working with the class teacher to deliver excellent teaching and learning.
  • Coaching children on a 1:1 or group basis.
  • Accompanying groups on trips.
  • Supporting assessment and evidencing learning
  • Working with the teacher to create stimulating classroom displays and learning resources
  • Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all learners
  • Creating opportunities for all learners to reach their potential, irrespective of ability
