Quran/Qaidah:

I would like to inform you that, from the next half term students will be moved to the complete Qaidah book,  as it has many new and innovative features that are better suited for the different abilities of our students.  The complete Qaidah will assist the students to master the correct pronunciation which will eventually enable them to read the Quran with accuracy and fluency Insha’Allah.

Arabic:

In Arabic lessons we have been learning about the letters Raa, Zaa, Seen, and Sheen with examples.

Islamic studies:

  • Last week was assessment week
  • Seerah of the Prophet (SAW)

During the half-term break:

Remind your child/children to make a habit of reciting a surah every morning as the benefits and merits of reading the Quran are enormous; the Prophet (S.A.W) said there are ten merits for reading each letter of the Quran and alif-laam-meem are three letters, their reward is thirty merits.

  • Students to learn and memorise  Surahs (Al-Fatihah, An-Naas, Al-Falaq, Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Masad, An-Nasr, Al-Kafiroun and Al-kawthar).
  • Revise the Arabic alphabet and practice writing them with examples.

I ask Allah SWT to keep you all safe in this half-term and I look forward to seeing you on the 3rd of November insha’Allah.

Wassalam,

Ustadhah Arami.
