Quran:

Please remind your child/children to make a habit of reciting a surah every morning as the benefits and merits of reading the Quran are enormous; the Prophet (S.A.W) said there are ten merits for reading each letter of the Quran and alif-laam-meem are three letters, their reward is thirty merits.

Surah to learn is At-Takweer.

and revise previous Surahs ( An-Naas to Az-Zalzalah).

Qaidah:

To revise from the ‘Let’s learn to read the Quran book 3’ 

  • THE MOST COMMON WORDS IN THE QURAN

These are the most-repeated Quranic words. Pupils must master them before starting to read the Quran. These words should form the mental resource bank of known words by the pupils!

Children should be able to read the whole line in one breath, then two lines, etc. pages (5,6 and 7)

  • THE MOST COMMON PHRASES OF THE QURAN

Pupils are expected to read each line without hesitation, read each line in one breath. Then 2 lines in one breath. pages (8-12)

Islamic studies:

  • Last week was assessment week
  • Seerah of the Prophet (SAW)
  • Respecting people textbook  pages 34-37
  • Please complete workbook 3 on respecting people pages 28-31

Please revise previous lessons during the half term break insha’Allah.
